1.To promote unity, co-operation and dialogue among members and between members and other actors in the agricultural sector. 2.To ensure timely intervention in the resolution of issues affecting the agricultural sector. 3.To ensure effective representation of the farming community and expression of its views to government and the public at large. 4.To encourage effective networking and collaboration with national and international associations that share the Federations objectives and aspirations. 5.To Conduct and facilitate appropriate research into problems affecting agricultural production and marketing. 6.To encourage collaboration between members of the farming community and any other legitimate entity whose actions are in the interest of the farming community.
